Meinklang Pinot Noir Frizzante Prosa 2015/2016, Austria, 10.5% [Organic & Vegan]
Lightly sparkling and relatively light in alcohol - with fresh, ripe strawberry and cherry fruit. Not too sweet and not too dry - the sweetness of the ripe red berry fruit is perfectly balanced by a refreshing, clean acidity.
*NEW* Romandiola Pignoletto Frizzante 2017, Italy, 11.5%
*INTRODUCTORY PRICE* £9.45/75cl
(N.B. Will be £10.50/75cl from 24.04.19)
Off-dry (but slightly drier than the average Prosecco), the nose is fruity and gently perfumed with citrus blossom and delicate peach aromas. The palate shows simple citrus and green apple fruit with a refreshing acidity.
Wild Thing Prosecco Frizzante 2017, 11% [Organic & Vegan]
This easy drinking, organic Prosecco has delicate notes of pear and spring flowers with a touch of white peach fruit. Being Frizzante (instead of Spumante), the bubbles are softer but still bring lift and freshness.
Plus, for every bottle sold, a donation is made to the Born Free Foundation to fund conservation and animal projects around the world. (It also has a handy 'flip top' lid that can be re-sealed for convenience - if required!)
Domaine Désiré Petit Brut, Crémant du Jura, NV, 12% [Vegan]
Made from 100% Chardonnay using the 'Méthode Traditionnelle' (ie. the same way that Champagne is made!). This is a lively fruit forward fizz with crisp apple and zesty citrus flavours, and a toasty brioche note. Full of flavour yet light and easy to drink - despite being dry.
Pol Roger Brut Réserve NV, AOC Champage, 12.5% [Vegan]
Elegant and refined - rich in flavour, yet still displaying a wonderful freshness. More than 30 different wines from at least two vintages are expertly blended, then aged for at least 3 years . The result is beautifully balanced and deliciously creamy with a steely, lemon-zest finish. Did we mention that this is our favourite Grande Marque Champagne?
*NEW* Louis Roederer Brut Premier NV, AOC Champagne, 12%
Deliciously fresh and crisp with creamy, biscuity complexity - the nose is refreshingly fruity with ripe red fruits balanced by zesty lemon and grapefruit notes. The palate is both rich and refreshingly tense with a mineral core and layers of supple fruit.
Moet et Chandon Cuvée Dom Perignon 2009, AOC Champagne, 12.5% GIFT BOXED
Described poetically by the winemaker as having 'notes of guava and spicy green grapefruit zest combine with stone fruit: white peach and nectarine ... complemented by woody vanilla and warm, lightly toasted brioche. The fruit is majestic, ripe, fleshy and profound. The wine's power is remarkably restrained. The various sensations - silky, salty, sappy and briny - converge and persist.'
