This elegant 1er Cru Chablis is full of ripe citrus and delicate floral aromas.  The palate is lively with citrus and green apple fruit characters supported by a chalky minerality.  The finish is long and refreshing.

Louis Michel Chablis 1er Cru Montée de Tonnerre 2015, AOC Chablis, 13%




The most prestigious and sought after of the Chablis 1er Crus, it is sometimes said that Montée de Tonnerre should be the eighth Grand Cru!  Vibrant yet restrained, with elegant mineral aromas, ripe fruit on the palate and a harmonious long finish.  Delicious now - but will become increasingly complex over the next 7-8 years.

Bacchus is one of the most interesting grape varieties currently grown in the UK (in my opinion).  Light, clean and refreshing, it tastes a bit like Sauvignon Blanc – with aromatic citrus and gooseberry fruit (and a dash of elderflower cordial!).

An unusual blend of the local Lebanese 'Obeidy' grape with Muscat and Viognier.  Very expressive – with exotic tropical fruit aromas, concentrated peach fruit flavours, a twist of grapefruit and a delicate hint of spicy white musk.
